Phaser Rifle.

This was to look like it could belong in the original Star Trek series. It was made for my friends in the AQ6 podcast and one was a give away helping to promote the show.

The guys supplies a design. I then made a cardboard mock up to get sizes correct and then approvals.

I made 1 and moulded it to produce 4 copies. All the patterns were made out of wood and detailed with plastic and metal parts.

I used several internals from hard drives as they have brilliant pieces in them. The power crystals were rocks with a crystal detail added. These were cast in clear.

I made 5 in the end as one was kept here for a display. The phasers were broken down into many parts that all screwed together, mainly for freight but more for fun assembling them.
